I’m absolutely buzzing (pun intended!) to share that some of my photography will be on display at The Gallery Presents exhibition, hosted by the wonderful Georgian Theatre Royal in Richmond. It’s such a brilliant opportunity to be part of something that celebrates local talent—and even better, it’s happening in one of the most charming and historic venues around.
There’s something really special about local art—how it brings people together, sparks conversations, and helps us see our community (and each other) in new ways. I’m so proud to be part of a show that supports that kind of connection.
What’s The Gallery Presents All About?

In a nutshell, it’s a space for local artists—like me!— to share our work with the wider community. The exhibition is free to visit (yes, free!), which I think is amazing. Art should be for everyone, and the fact that you can pop in, have a wander, and take it all in without spending a penny makes it super accessible. Of course, if you do want to spend some money, all the artworks are available to purchase too.
What You'll See from Me
I’ll be showing a selection of my macro photography, all focused on bees. I’ve been a bit obsessed with these tiny creatures lately—the way they move, their textures, their colours. It’s like discovering a whole new world through the lens. Each photo is a little window into their lives, and I’ve tried to capture not just their beauty, but also how important they are to the world around us.
My inspiration comes from spending time outdoors and really slowing down to notice the little things. There’s so much wonder in the details, and I hope my photos help people see that too.
The Venue: A Theatre with History and Heart
The exhibition is set in the Gallery Bar, right at the top of The Georgian Theatre Royal. If you’ve never been, it’s well worth the visit. This place has some serious character—it’s the UK’s oldest working theatre still in its original form, and it’s packed with stories. The Gallery Bar is a relaxed, cosy spot where you can soak up the atmosphere and take in the artwork at your own pace.
Why It Matters
Exhibitions like this are so important—not just for artists, but for the community too. They help keep local culture alive and thriving. Plus, by visiting or buying artwork, you’re also supporting the Georgian Theatre Royal itself, which is a registered charity. Every bit helps them continue the fantastic work they do for Richmond and beyond.
Come Say Hi!
If you’re in or around Richmond, pop in and check it out! Bring a friend, spread the word, and enjoy some homegrown art. And if you want to keep up with my photography journey, you can find me on social media—I’d love to connect and share more of what I’m working on.
Big Thanks
Massive thanks to the team at The Georgian Theatre Royal for making this all happen, and to everyone who comes along to support. It really means the world. Here’s to celebrating creativity, community, and the little things that make life beautiful—like bees!
